Anyone ever make the conversion of X2-CRT?
How about the brushless central diff mount? Is there any commercial product available or any substitute? Thanks.

Not sure on the motor mount, but I know that there is a guy on RCTech that converted an X2. It turned out great. I'll try to find the link...

He is also actually using the Tekno motor mount. I think he just drilled 4 additional holes into the chassis.

I hope Mike makes a mount. Seems one from the buggy may work if it had a notch drilled out of it to clear that center chassis brace...

I'm debating replacing my 3 year old E-CRT with a X2-CRT but I ain't doing it until Mike has a mount.

Buy the kit and sent it to him and then he can make the mount - someone has to be first...

Anyone hear any reviews yet of the new X2? I'm curious how it stacks up and the improvement over the X1.

That's my X2 conversion Jnev .
I just drilled and dremeled 4 new slots in the chassis for the Tekno mount so i can adjust gear mesh .

Fits great , only thing because the mount is seperate from the diff ,when the chassis flexes it could stuff up the gear mesh so i braced the centre diff to the rear chassis brace which will stop the centre chassis flex .Pics below so you can see how i braced the diff.
I also have one of Mikes CR buggy mounts coming to try out in the X2:wink:
Finnster , the X2 has been run now down here in Australia for nearly two months . I know a couple of guys that have been running it and i think it won the Australian Nats .It has heaps more steering than the X1 , accelerates alot quicker and is holding up great .Flies through the air like an eagle . Also when i built my conversion the driveline was the smoothest i have built

I haven't run mine yet as i fried my MM when testing it out on 5s so i am waiting for the MMM V2 which i back ordered.
