I just ordered the G2R kit, I already haver a 10L, hacker comp, and e-trans with ultramaxx gears. 2 things I was wondering about, do you think I need aluminum diff cases and aluminum diff cups? Also since the chassi is ext 1 inch, what body do you think would go well with it, I do not like the look of the wheel wells being off from the tires on extened chassi for e-maxx but I lived with it.

thanks for your help

Welcome pc nutz. The aluminum diffs will make your diff stronger. I am not sure on total length of this g2r kit. You may want to wait on a body until you can measure it and get a length and wheel base.

Aluminum cups and cases will be helpful for sure. I use the ext. f350 maxx body on mine, which fits it perfectly.

I just ordered the chassi kit, I already have 3 revos, one I got for x-mass new last year and 2 I traded for. It looks like an easy build for me, I have built plenty of custom e-maxxes and one from scrap parts. If we get a screw kit with it I think I would have it built in one night. I just need to come up with cvds, diff upgrades and a new 80watt iron to build my batts. I dunno what happend to my old iron but it went kaput. So I am try to sell off 6 rc cars to fund this project.

Im not quite a begginer myself, ive built an emaxx from the ground up plenty of times!

Edit** pcnutz, yes it does come with the needed screws to attatch the chassis to the f/r ends.

setting up and tuning a revo is cake compared to the rest of the motors I have worked on

does anyone make a esc tray that goes onto the motor mount of a e-maxx tranny, I seen some1 making them along time ago but I do not remember who manufactured them. I know what most of you will say is make one, but I am not a fabricator, hence why I waited for g2r to make e-revo, any help would be greatly appreciated. JJ

You could always buy some pre 90 degree bent aluminum and just drill two holes? Most guys just go with a cheap method like that.

I know the mount you're thinking of, and someone other than rc-solutions offers it but i can't quite remember
