can u over tighten the slipper what will happen :diablo: what will i need to replace ?? all the guys have them on order and i have one just got lucky

As far as I can tell, No, you canīt.

If you compress the springs too much the slipperdiff would just act like any other standard diff.

I think you could completly compress the springs and they would still be good afterwards.

If you have the springs all the way down, and keep on turning on the adjustment ring like a gorilla, then, yes, at one point you are bound to strip the thread, but only a brainless hulk would do something like that :lol:

well said my Kung fu grip cost me my rounded nut. Now waiting for the spares to arrive:)

But even so the slip is still working, but if the diff is hot after 20- 30min run is it normal?

LOL. Define "hot" Alan. More slip will yield more heat, so it is normal for the diff to be pretty warm after a long run(even a normal diff will heat up with prolonged use, but the plastic cup won't radiate the heat like the Slipperential, so it isn't noticed as much). If it is too hot to touch, you may want to tighten it a litle, but it can handle pretty substantial heat. :)

:) hot means too hot to touch, I will tighten more:) love d diff I m in the amain now thx to your diff.

The diff never fail to impress my nitro n ep friends it's a piece of CNC art!
