Hello,
thanks to this excellent forum, i've finished my first "big" conversion:
it's an mbx5 t prospec with the rcm motor mount, mgm 22418 and neu 1521/1d, a 4s evo20 4900 for now (5000 evo 25 to come), battey tray and esc mount are made of pieces of aluminium i've got; waiting for a rcm battery tray...
everything runs well, nothing under 120°F so not too bad i think, and the motor is a beast!!

some pictures:

MONSTER motor- looks like a ripsnorter!
I wonder what is the ratio of motor weight to vehicle weight???

Thanks for the coments!
rtr aproximatively 144oz for the truggy, and 19.9oz for the motor so the motor's weight is about 1/7 of the truggy.

Very Nice Mugen! I like it allot. Looks like it should tear up some track. Make sure to post the pictures of it when you get the final battery tray installed. Although... I think the one you have looks fine.

That is a serious motor you have there. I have a 1521/1y in my revo and love it as well. Powerfull and cool is a great combo.:mdr:

thanks,
no video at the time, will do soon.
The battery tray is there, just a little cleaning on the truck and i'll post the pics
Yes the 1521 is great but is a little hard with my lipo: about 120°F with a 5000mah evo25 after about 15min, what do tou think about it? is it to much?
I just bought 2 dewalt packs to see if a123's handles it better...

Seems ok temp wise. The A123s will be good as they can take the abuse.
