motor wires can only be cut if they soft and flexable DO NOT CUT IF THEY ARE SOLID CORE. most hard wire motors are short ;)

I googled and sounds like they put something in them to last longer on the shelf? and low c charging helps burn it off or some thing like that.

30c or more is good but be careful lots batteries over rate the c rating. what brand of battery are you geting? adding a cap bank is also a good way to protect esc

lst2 axles will work with mods and hold up nice I was bending old mip on 4s and 7" tires

what c rating did you set it at for the first charge? I heard 1C is good to start for first five or so runs and then bump it up for faster charge and better bal.
