long story short, i got a new mmp in the mail yesterday after sending it in for non-warranty repairs and they ended up sending me a new unit and it looks like the mmp has a new case design....

After one run (about 14min) the motor goes from a resting 68f to 160f without a shroud...with the shroud, the motor is cool (135f) in the center but the temp from the endbell still...

I sent my MMP in for out of warranty...

I sent my MMP in for out of warranty repair...they got it on feb 1st and I got an email saying that they would ship a new or refurbished one once they are in stock....hope this helps :) BC apparently...
