Punch control vs air control

Does someone know if the punch control on a MMM affect the air control while jumping.

Or since the tork require to spin the wheel freely in almost notting.

Maybe my wheel and tire combo are too...

I break those shaft regulary but still use them as fuse part and cheap to replace but with LST diff I...

1.24 to 1.26 work without an issue.
I have a 1717 too in my maxx.
newer version have some issue.
