XT60s are plenty large enough for 1/8 scale trucks- the 90s are good for 1/5 scale.

These days, pretty much everyone & their uncle is running XT60 connectors- they are basically bullet connectors in a plastic molding ( kinda like EC5 connectors, only you don't have to assemble them...
