Snow day in NJ so I hid in the basement and got it together finally...

6oz Lead knuckle weights + 2.5 oz on case

Very nice project for a crummy afternoon!

So what is up with the steering links? To move it away from the front so it can't get hung up?

What axles are those? Looks like lots of fun

Those are RC4WD super bully axles...

Lots of fun independent 4WS / 4WD using a DX6 stick controller...

Yes the OTA (Over the Axle) steering is to keep the front free from any obstructions...

They are homemade from delrin. I'm remaking them for more clearance.

1. MBX-6 T8 1900KV, RX8 ON 4S
2. MBX-5T 1520, MMM ON 5S

I wouldnt know how to act if I had a Super too. Probably overwhelmed.

How's the battery tray holding up mounted to the round front links? Just the 2 screws? Are the lower front shocks mounts holding securely to the links also?

When you do make it to Charlotte, is it ever on the weekend? Got a couple of events in January.

Some more work...

Tilted the skid and re-did the links scaling up the T1E 2.2 links - have some work to do to finish off the setup but its getting there...

those redesigned links look sick, if it crawls half as good as it looks you're going to be winning some comps!

are the handwound motors done by your hands?

are the bully axles as impressive up close as they are online? Do the gears look beefy?
