The one with the lip around the bottom chassis plate is the original G-maxx chassis. The dull one is the G2.
I had both of those at one time or another.
I can't decide if its more fun
to make it...
or break it...

All those pictures are the G1 chassis - just no lip is installed in a couple of the pictures. I still have a purple G1, actually. The G2 aluminum lower plate had bent edges instead of the lip piece, and also could accomodate 8 nimh cells per side (G1 only held 7 cells). A couple pictures even show the old Gorilla shock towers, too. :)

HiAmp! Man he tried a lot of different set-ups and helped up paved the way! I'm sure Mike remembers him well.
Thats definitely the G-Maxx chassis that started it for GorillaMaxx.

What would one of these be worth NIP?

Hmm... They can be considered collectors items now, but they are dated and created for the original E-Maxx. Not sure it would work on the newer maxx. I'm betting $200+ or higher if NIP... Look at the price of the G3R chassis...
Dafni: Great find on the new avatar. I solute you!
