Aftershock Crawler ? - 04.24.2011, 06:56 AM

The Questions of the day .
  1. Can a Losi Aftershock be the base of an electric crawler ?
  2. Is there a class you could enter this vehicle in ?
  3. What transmission would you put in it ?
  4. How would you lock the Axles ?
  5. What tire's would work good ?
  6. Why aren't there crawlers with independent suspension around ?
  7. Is this vehicle just too wide, too long or too heavy for a crawler ?
  8. Any other input ?
I don't want to build an expensive boat anchor.

1. sure
2. I don't know
3. a standard lst2 or xxl tranny with the high/low selector for low! (I'll sell you one)
4. jb weld in the diff cup
5. losi clawz
6. lack of stout independent suspended diffs in the real world, solid axles are strong. Independent works well (think traxxas summit)
7. No
8. DO IT!!!!!!
