Went to my first race with my new Slash 4x4 Ultimate... - 01.25.2011, 01:49 AM

and I had an absolute blast!!! I hadn't raced RC cars in over 15 years and I decided to keep my new Slash 4x4 Ultimate long enough for me to join the local guys at our snow track over the weekend and then decide if I wanna keep it or not after my first dissapointing bashing run with it last week which people gave me hell for in comparing a Slash to a Flux. In hindsight, a poor way to compare the trucks for sure and being smart, I felt I needed to give the Slash an honest try at a race before give up on it.

Needless to say, I was with the guys for 5 hours have the time of our lives. Sliding, bashing, crashing, flipping, spinning and have an all out ball with our Slash 4x4's. Two more guys are planning on buying 4x4's in the near future so well have at least 7 for our local get togethers. Even more exciting is that we have a track that is gonna be built next to a large and popular automotive restoration facility in town and were hoping to get a track and lighting system installed!!!

I am totally, totally ramped up for spring now, I want winter to be over with! My nerf bars were broken within the first race, so i've got RPM's on the way, along with some Proline caliber tires and whatever my wallet can manage!

Awesome news! Racing RC can be very fun, I don't bash nearly as much anymore because I enjoy racing so much more. It's also fun just to hangout with a bunch of people that share the same passion

Metal is the only music that should be played with vids

So how was Katy Perry's last concert... I missed it on account of good taste...

I will say that some techno is ok as background music, and if you happen to be running nitro anything is better than hearing that annoying engine noise...Even country music

You guys misinterpret...

It has nothing to do with my taste in music, but rather the subject matter of the video. Nothing says BRUTAL METAL like toy cars zipping around.
For those of you that enjoy metal you really need to check out metalocaplypse on adult swim, too funny.
http://video.adultswim.com/metalocal...hone-line.html
It's designed to run up minutes, brutal.

Oh and as to Katy Perry....no idea how the concert was, but damn if she isn't easy on the eyes.
