Motor choice for CRT.5 and STe -

I am looking at either the Castle 1415-2400 or the 1512-2650 and tinking I will be running either 3S or 4S. On 4S I'll be a little over 40k on both motors, but with these vehicles being fairly small I'm not too concerned.
Primary use is bashing, road/dirt/grass.
I would typically go with the 1512, but a little concerned that it might be a bit much for the drive-train for these two and with part supplies dried up I would prefer to not destroy drive-line components with too much power.
I would go with the 1510 3800kv motor that comes with the sidewinder sct combo. Run it with a 3s capable esc, and a 3s 5k pack. The crt.5 is very small and light, plus you are not going to have much tire and wheel weight. I ran 4 and 5s setups on mine, and found that 3s was plenty.

Thanks for the response, I assume that holds true for the scrt10 as well. Just converted to the longer chassis.
