New Setup - 04.11.2016, 11:06 AM

I want to setup a baja truck for drag racing 132' on 12s, probably using MGM controller and Poseiden motor 600kv. Any advice ???

Traction will be your biggest issue. On 8s with a 2028 castle combo I would spin pretty bad on any surface.

I have the MGM & 3080 on 12s in a 5ive. It's stupid fast and putting 14,000 watts out = 19+HP. Traction is not an issue, because none exists. It just spins the tires at WOT. Also, VERY hard on batteries. I've hurt TPs and Nano's in under a dozen runs. Seems the 14k watts is all the batts can give. It would probably be higher w/ stronger batts.

Do you have the esc programed the way you want it, or something else?

Yes, it's programmed. It's like going from windoze to linux though, lots to learn about it and the docs seems unnecessarily complex. Always could learn more.
Not sure what you mean by something else.

Right now the truck is down b/c I've destroyed all the batts and have to plunk some serious coin into drivetrain upgrades or make them myself. The chassis layout is IMHO a big headache too.
