I am gearing up to finish. The next update is going to be major. I am heading to the machine shop tomorrow. :D
As a teaser here are the truck's newest shoes. Billet ALUMINUM 40 Series 23mm hub wheels, 40 Series Big Joes, and 40 Series Bowties. I found solid 23mm hexes that mount like regular truggy 17mm hexes. They mount unlike those wretched Proline 23mm hexes. I also have some VTR Calibers that I need to clean up. They are truggy tires. They are what I use most. I don't think that they weigh half of what these Big Joes weigh.

Nicely done Zack. Damn, it's been awhile since I posted. My 9 year old daughter is getting me back into RC so I'm building her a kyosho ST RR Evo electric conversion. Just bought some battery straps, tray and kyosho motor mount a couple of weeks ago.
Castle Neu 1520 on 6S LiPo Powered Gmaxx (Nitro Killer)
Predator with OS .21TM
Supermaxx with Mach .26
Revo with OS .18TZ

Hey man! Welcome back Lito! My first little girl, who is now 15 months was "helping" me a few hours ago get my new work from the machine shop put on my truck. I am pretty excited. I have to go back to the shop for one more round of work before I am finished. I have pictures! I post after I am all done.
Thanks Zach

Sheesh, you guys are still playing with toys? Grow up.
I'm seriously considering purchasing a Kraken Vekta .5, it's a 1/5 trophy truck with solid rear axle.
I can't wait to see what you've got going Kcaz25!

Photobucket killed the photos because they ran out of money.
Im still working on this.
But the real news is that I have a fulltime job now where about 50% of my time and energy is spent playing with a radio control vehicle i fly a DJI quadcopter for the surveying company that i work for. I have my license and then got this job. i had to do about two months of grunt work first. I do mapping from the drone.

I missed posting in 2019. Shame. I can definitely say that I am still building this thing. Sometime probably I 2017 I built the car strong enough to take the CCNeu (for those that dont know Castle Creations motors worked with Steve Neu to build these motors that we all take for granted now. They laid the ground work for alot of what we enjoy today they are still rocking. Rolling out some 1/6 scale sensored powered system.) But even in 2020 I'm still improving the truck.
